ELOmobile and La Vie Routiere announce their partnership to offer ecodriving solution and support to the sustainable driving especially dedicated to conveyors and industrialists.

Brest, March 23rd 2011: ELOmobile - Vehco Group, leader in professional fleet management solutions and La Vie Routiere which supports and accompanies the companies and the communities during the deployment of the prevention plan of the road risk or during the installation of the sustainable way of driving driving plan announce their partnership to offer solutions of eco-driving and accompaniment to the sustainable way of driving especially dedicated to the conveyors and to industrialists. This partnership is based on the use of the new module ELOdrive of ELOmobile, compatible with the last generations of the on-board computers ELOcom 2+ and ELOcom LISTO, offering a true assistance in real time to eco-driving. ELOdrive will be presented at the SITL 2011 tradeshow in Paris the 29-30-31 March (ELOmobile booth N06). The sustainable way of driving formations and accompaniments, especially dedicated to the road carriers and to industrialists, will be exempted by the professionals of La Vie Routiere.

Alain ROHEL, Chief Executive Officer La Vie Routiere comments on: “Giving trainings, if there is not a possibility of follow-up of the trained people, is frustrating for trainers who like their joband for who the result of their interventions matters a lot. With the ELOmobile tools we finally have the solution to accompany the drivers and the internal trainers by the companies for a real follow-up of consumption and trainings given. Thanks to the feedback of the data made by theELOmobile solutions, we can advise the drivers, the internal trainers but also the head managerson the relevance of the actions in progress or future. Within the framework of our partnership with ELOmobile, we put at the disposal of companies our network 24 professional trainers in France. Our message giver to the drivers is the following: a training for a better use of your vehicle technologies. The day of the formation, we record an average reduction of the fuel consumption which is 8 and 18%, depending onthe driver’s profile and its activity. After the training, the driver will save fuel up from – 3 to - 6%.

As former carrier, I do the following calculation:

- my fuel costs represents 25% of my cost price,

- if I have 3% of reduction, it is 0,75% of better with the assessment,

- and if it is 6% my result improves of 1,75%.

Then I say “yes” to the formation provided as long as the trainers are efficientand as long as I have good tools for control.The partnership with ELOmobile is an obvious partnership which results in the good tools make the good blue-collar workers. But even the most beautiful tool is not worth anything without accompaniment to use it fully! We will be present at the SITL on the stand of ELOmobile, come to meet us.”

Basically, reductions of fuel consumption from 3% to 6% (2 l/100 km) on fleet already equipped of on-board computing are possible, and also reductions of 15% on the maintenance costs of the vehicles.
